My Secret Iced Matcha Latte Recipe!

If you’ve been watching my Instagram story - you’ll know I’m absolutely OBSESSED with my delicious matcha lattes! I seriously can’t get enough and I have at least one every day!

I get so excited when it’s matcha time because these drinks are so dang good, and the benefits are insaneeeee.

Since I’m constantly posting about them, I get a lot of questions…

  • What is this secret matcha recipe that I’m always posting about?

Don’t worry, I’m not going to hold out on sharing the recipe but I want to talk a little about the other questions first so you know why you need to get more matcha in your life!

Probably the most common question is…

What is MATCHA?

The short version is that matcha is a type of powdered green tea. It’s a little more special than that though…

For one, instead of the leaves diffusing through a tea bag and being thrown away like little traditional tea, you are drinking the actual ground up tea leaves which offers amazing health benefits.

Also, there is a special growing process that helps to enhance flavor and quality of the leaves.

What are the benefits of MATCHA?

Since matcha leaves are grown specifically for better quality and you are literally consuming the tea leaves, matcha powder is a super potent source of nutrients and antioxidants!   1. Grab your blender and add the following (I use a Ninja blender which I love and highly recommend)
  2. 6 oz. of vanilla unsweetened almond milk
